About the role

To support the expansion of the team, the full-time Telephony Engineer will design and modernize telephony infrastructure, integrate with telecom providers, and optimize resources while working remotely across Europe. Key responsibilities Design and modernization of telephony infrastructure Integration with telecom providers in the US, LATAM, and Europe Building call handling systems from scratch for both outbound and inbound traffic Required qualifications 5 to 10 years of experience in VoIP and telephony engineering Deep understanding of SIP protocol and troubleshooting of signaling and media issues Knowledge of FreeSWITCH/Asterisk or similar platforms, including dialplan development Strong Linux administration skills, preferably with Debian or Ubuntu Solid understanding of networking, including TCP/IP and RTP traffic analysis
