About the role
This role will help bring the Claire’s brand to life across social media, digital marketing and other fast-moving consumer touchpoints. You’ll design static and motion content that feels native to each platform, taps into what girls are watching and sharing, and builds a consistent, recognizable brand. You don’t need years of experience, but you do need taste, curiosity and a portfolio that shows you understand the internet and Gen Alpha culture.
What You’ll Do:
Design engaging, repeatable content systems for Claire’s owned channels.
Create motion graphics, short-form video, animations, GIFs and dynamic typography
Translate campaign concepts and brand priorities into platform-native content in partnership with the social team
Edit and adapt video footage into polished, high-energy social assets
Support seasonal campaigns, product launches, collaborations and cultural moments
Develop templates and repeatable content systems that help the team move quickly while maintaining brand consistency
Resize, version and optimize creative across social, digital and paid media placements
Partner with social, brand, copy and marketing teams from concept through execution
Participate in brainstorms and contribute ideas informed by trends, creators, fandoms and youth culture
Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment What You Bring
1–3 years of professional, internship or freelance experience in graphic design, motion design or social content creation
A portfolio demonstrating strong design fundamentals and social-first thinking
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Premiere Pro
Experience creating xsgimln motion graphics and editing short-form video
Familiarity with Tik Tok, Instagram Reels, You Tube Shorts and the creative conventions of each platform
Strong understanding of typography, composition, color and visual storytelling
An eye for trends and the judgment to know which ones are right for the brand
Ability to receive feedback, iterate quickly and maintain attention to detail
A collaborative, resourceful and low-ego approach
Genuine interest in fashion, beauty, accessories, entertainment and modern girlhood
Experience with Figma, Cap Cut, photography, illustration or hands-on content creation is a plus.
