Avionics Equipment Specialist Support - Senior Apply: Hill AFB, UT:Full time: Posted Yesterday: JR100831 Canvas Inc., is seeking a Senior Avionics Equipment Specialist to provide expert technical support for the F-16 aircraft program at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. The selected candidate will serve as a senior-level subject matter expert supporting avionics system troubleshooting, sustainment, technical order development, and verification activities in support of Department of Defense (DoD) mission requirements.Key Responsibilities: * Serve as a senior technical authority for F-16 avionics systems, providing advanced expertise and oversight.* Provide assistance in troubleshooting avionics systems and developing improvements to resolve fielded and fielding system issues.* Support avionics systems including radar, controls and displays, data bus, communications, navigation, identification, electronic warfare, and sensor systems.* Act as the technical content manager for assigned avionics systems and Technical Orders (TOs).* Assist in establishing requirements and preparing Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs) and TOs.* Support verification, inspection, repair, and testing of complete weapon systems.* Participate in technical verification teams and publication reviews.* Oversee and guide junior and journeyman contractor personnel.Required Qualifications * Senior-level avionics expertise.* Minimum of 10 years of F-16 aircraft maintenance experience.* Experience in avionics development, integration, and sustainment.* Demonstrated experience in a DoD environment. Education & Certification - Master’s or Doctoral degree with 10 years of experience (5 in DoD), OR - Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of experience (5 in DoD), OR - 15 years of directly related experience with appropriate certifications (8 in DoD).Clearance Requirement - Active Secret clearance- U.S. citizenship required.
