Hospice Quality Assurance RN - Registered Nurse

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Participate in the collection of data generated for the Quality Assessment & Performance Improvement program, regulatory and compliance for Home Care and Hospice. Develop and format data collection tools as directed. Maintain accurate and confidential records of data collected. Prepares Hospice CAHPS mailing list monthly prior to submission to Press Ganey. Calculate response rates for various surveys and data collection processes. Coordinates the timely and accurate implementation of telephone surveys; collate responses. Enters survey/QA & PI data onto appropriate computer program. Prepares mailings and meeting arrangements and takes minutesQA & I and Professional Advisory Committees and Performance Improvement meetings. Maintains accurate education records on each employee within Home Care. Collects Medicare D information and notifies appropriate Medicare D Plan upon admission and discharge for Medicare Hospice patients.

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree required. Minimum 2 years data entry experience required with accurate typing ability. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel spreadsheets).Knowledge of graphic display of information. Attention to detail and follow-up; proven organization skills. Benefits/
