About the role
A leading manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to provide strategic HR leadership and support across a complex, fast-paced operation. This role serves as a key business partner to site leadership and employees while overseeing core HR functions and developing effective policies, processes, and talent strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a strategic HR business partner to site and business leadership. Lead and oversee HR functions including employee relations, recruiting, performance management, compensation, benefits, training, and HR operations. Manage and develop HR team members while providing direction, coaching, and support. Lead HR projects and initiatives at the site and broader organizational level. Partner with leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, succession planning, headcount management, and talent development. Handle employee relations matters, investigations, corrective actions, performance improvement, and policy interpretation. Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state employment laws, company policies, and reporting requirements. Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Prepare and deliver employee communications related to HR policies, compensation, benefits, and organizational initiatives. Partner with corporate and cross-functional HR teams to support business goals and organizational growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required; Master’s preferred.7+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally within a manufacturing or other complex operational environment.3+ years managing HR professionals or equivalent HR leadership experience. Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance. Demonstrated experience with employee relations, HR operations, talent management, and organizational development. Strong project management, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to influence and collaborate with leaders and employees at all levels. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment. PHR/SPHR certification preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms.
