We are seeking a dedicated Intervention Specialist to join our collaborative, high-expectation team across our K-8 and High School campuses. If you are passionate about driving academic growth and building an inclusive, structured learning environment, Position: Intervention Specialist Location: Columbus Performance Academy-Stewart Why Your Work Matters Here Whole-Child Focus: Daily physical education (martial arts, tennis, soccer) integrates with academics for well-rounded growth. Character-Driven: Daily values lessons and a strict uniform policy foster respect, responsibility, and teamwork. Personalized Impact: Small class sizes ensure individualized attention so no student falls behind. Supportive Leadership: Highly visible leaders offer ongoing coaching, collaboration, and feedback. Key Responsibilities & Qualifications Direct Support: Deliver specialized instruction, co-teaching, and accommodations for students with IEPs, 504s, and BIPs; track progress and advocate for student needs. Compliance & IEP Management: Write, update, and lead meetings for IEPs, ETRs, FBAs, and 504 Plans per state and federal guidelines.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree, valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license, passed background checks, and proficiency in IDEA regulations, data monitoring, and educational software. Work Schedule School hours: 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Attendance at staff meetings, IEP meetings, professional development, conferences, and required trainings.
