About the role

Maintenance Group LeaderIn this role, you will oversee a small to medium group of salaried maintenance Group Leaders. Leads the maintenance and repair of plant equipment and facilities aligned with standard GM maintenance systems. You will conduct appropriate checks and tests and communicate evaluation of results. Responsible for preventative maintenance and diagnosis of equipment malfunctions, recommends solutions to problems, and meets schedule and quality requirements in addition to the following responsibilities. Prioritize and coordinate work assignments to support production schedules and minimize downtime. Support implementation of predictive and preventive maintenance strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure all maintenance activities are performed safely and in compliance with GM standards. Lead and support GMS & BPD activities. Lead a workplace safety system (WSS) element or performance standard (PS). Lead training & versatility activities for hourly and salary die and maintenance team. Direct supervision of maintenance group leaders across 3 shifts of operation.
