The Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR), Park Maintenance and Recreation Services Division is looking for motivated Cashier-Clerks! This full-time, permanent role, located in Hanauma Bay, involves collecting visitor fees, processing payments, assisting the public, and handling daily cash and clerical duties.
What You Will Do:
Collect visitor fees by operating cash registers and processing admission and parking payments.
Verify visitor information to determine applicable fees, discounts, and payment types.
Balance daily cash by reconciling receipts, register tapes, refunds, and deposits.
Assist visitors by providing information on park hours, fees, transportation, and rules.
Complete daily closing duties by preparing reports, securing cash, and cleaning cashiering areas.
Perform other related duties as needed.
Special Working Conditions:
Work schedule is Wednesday - Sunday from 6:15 a.m. until 2:45 p.m., off Monday and Tuesday.
May work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs.
This position will serve as a Disaster Response worker during declared emergencies.
