About the role

FPC of Greensboro has partnered with MAIA Pharmaceuticals in its search for a Director of Product Development. MAIA is a specialty pharmaceutical company with a team of 90+ R&D professionals tackling complex formulation and drug delivery challenges to improve patient adherence, enhance safety, and create better options for patients, clinicians, and healthcare systems. The Director of Product Development will be a hands-on leader with a proven background in injectable and long-acting drug delivery formulations. This individual will have the ability to advance products from concept through FDA approval and will work closely with the Chief Scientific Officer, internal teams, and external CDMO partners. The Director will own formulation and process development for assigned projects. We are seeking candidates with directly relevant injectable product experience, exposure to manufacturing process development, and a proven track record in analytical development. A Ph. D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related discipline is preferred. The ability to work in the Princeton, NJ, area is preferred; however, hybrid/remote employment options may be considered for the right candidate residing on the East Coast. Excellent salary, bonus potential, and benefits are available. Please reach out to Will Martin with a current resume for more information.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
