Job Description Job Description Materials & Scheduling Manager Materials & Scheduling Manager needed for a growing precision manufacturing company in the Bryan/College Station, TX area. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on improving material flow, inventory control, WIP visibility, warehouse operations, and overall execution across the manufacturing operation.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage material flow from receiving through production, WIP, packaging, and shipping
  • Own inventory accuracy, cycle counts, ERP discipline, and material traceability
  • Build and improve PULL/Kanban replenishment systems
  • Manage WIP movement and visibility
  • Lead warehouse, receiving, shipping, packaging, and scheduling
  • Maintain production schedules and identify material and capacity conflicts
  • Improve warehouse organization, SOPs, visual controls, and processes
  • Apply Lean, Kanban, 5S, and continuous improvement
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 3Partner with Production, Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Sales
Key Requirements:
  • 10+ years of materials, inventory, production control, warehouse, or supply chain leadership in manufacturing
  • High-mix/low-volume, job-shop, make-to-order, or engineered-to-order manufacturing experiencePULL/Kanban manufacturing experience - REQUIREDInventory accuracy and cycle countingERP experienceWIP control and material traceability
  • Material flow and production control
  • Lean / Kanban / 5SProcess improvement and SOP development
  • Warehouse, receiving, and shipping leadership
  • Production scheduling experience
  • Team leadership and coaching
  • Hands-on, floor-oriented leadership style
Compensation: $100,000-$115,000 base salary + benefits
Location: Bryan/College Station, TX - Onsite
