Typical Day in the Life
A typical day as a Tax Administrative Assistant (Part-Time) might include the following:
Provides administrative support to partners, managers, and assigned teams.
Assists with client and department support activities, including organizing client information, scanning, logging and filing of documents, and correspondence with clients.
Supports receptionist as backup with front desk coverage, answering phones, and client service.
Collaborates with the administrative team to meet deadlines, ensure timely completing of assigned projects, and provide in-office coverage during business hours.
Maintains accuracy, confidentiality, professionalism, and regular, predictable attendance while managing multiple priorities.
Demonstrates flexibility by taking on new challenges and assisting with special projects and additional responsibilities as requested.
Other duties as assigned.
Who You Are
You have a High School Diploma and 2 years of past administrative support experience, preferably in a professional services or accounting firm.
You thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.
You can quickly prioritize and organize your work to complete tasks of an immediate nature.
You hold yourself to the highest professional standards and maintain strict client confidentiality.
You are proficient in Microsoft Excel. Microsoft Word, Outlook, DocuSign, Teams and Adobe Acrobat.
You are exceptionally detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
You love collaborating and contributing to being part of a team but also enjoy working alone with limited supervision.
You will work overtime as needed.
This position requires prolonged standing and sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching and the ability to lift up to 20 lbs
This is a part-time position, with a seasonal aspect. This role will average 32 hours per week from January through April, and again from August through October. There is potential for occasional available hours outside those months as well.
Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.
