As a Senior Analyst on the Global Commercial Growth team, you will play a key role in supporting WPP Media's global new business pipeline and strategic growth opportunities. This role focuses on providing analytical and commercial support for multi-million-dollar new business pitches and account expansions for some of the world's most recognizable brands.
This exciting role offers hands‑on experience in financial modeling, data analysis, reporting, and cross‑functional project coordination within a dynamic and fast‑paced environment. By collaborating closely with experienced commercial managers and directors, you will gain a deep understanding of global media operations and help shape WPP Media’s expansion.
This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, advanced Excel skills, excellent communication, and exceptional attention to detail who thrives in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the development and coordination of commercial proposals for global new business pitches by gathering market data, consolidating inputs, and supporting fee pricing and remuneration structure analysis.
Understand client RFPs and develop detailed market requests to gather all data needed to conduct internal analysis and respond in full to the client brief in prescribed submission templates.
Collect, cleanse, analyze, and present complex commercial data for new business pitches, translating findings into clear Excel summaries, financial models, presentations, and recommendations for senior leadership.
Develop and maintain financial models for prospective client remuneration, profitability analysis, and scenario planning, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Ensure timely completion of all commercial reporting and data consolidation required for new business proposals and growth project updates.
Build and maintain relationships with global market teams to collect, consolidate, and analyze key financial and commercial data for growth initiatives.
Develop a strong understanding of prospective client contract terms, including remuneration models, performance‑related fees, and billing terms.
Skills and Behaviors
Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to identify patterns, draw conclusions from complex data, and present findings clearly.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, financial modelling, and data manipulation).
Comfortable using AI tools for data modelling and scenario analysis, with sound judgment on accuracy, confidentiality, and responsible use.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex commercial concepts effectively to global audiences.
Proactive, eager to learn, and highly motivated with a problem‑solving mindset.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Solid understanding of core financial concepts, including revenue, costs, profitability, invoicing, and cash flow.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree and/or equivalent practical experience in data analysis, finance, accounting, or a related field.
At least 2‑4 years of experience in an analytical, commercial, or client finance role, preferably within the advertising industry.
Advanced proficiency in Excel.
Knowledgeable in AI tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot).
Demonstrated experience in data analysis and financial modelling.
Exposure to working with multiple international markets is a plus.

We offer a competitive benefits package. US Pay Range: $45,000 - $90,000 USD.
