Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students during the 2026-2027 school year. This position provides speech-language services in a vibrant school setting, covering a maternity leave from November 2026 through March 2027. Enjoy working in a collaborative environment with the support of an experienced SLPA who manages part of the caseload. Qualifications for this role include: Current or eligible licensure from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in Speech and Hearing Disabilities (all levels) Valid license (or eligibility) from the Massachusetts Board of Allied Health Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CCC-SLP) Experience providing speech-language therapy in school environments Ability to work independently while collaborating with colleagues, staff, and families No CF applicants will be considered for this position
In this role, you will: Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary students, ensuring individualized support Conduct assessments, document progress, and adjust interventions as needed Collaborate closely with teachers, specialists, and support staff for integrated student care Maintain clear communication with parents and caregivers regarding student progress Provide guidance and direction to the supporting SLPA This contract covers 34 hours per week during the school day, Monday through Friday, giving you consistent hours and time to develop relationships with your students. The compensation for this opportunity is $100 per hour.
