Job Description: Sanitation Associate
Location: Yakima, WA
Job Type: Full-Time Multiple Shifts Available Not afraid of a little soap, water, and elbow grease? Perfect. We’re hiring Sanitation Associates to join a busy food production team in Yakima. You’ll help keep production areas, equipment, and workspaces clean, safe, and ready to roll for the next shift. If you’re dependable, like staying busy, and don’t mind getting your hands dirty to keep things sparkling clean, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do: Clean and sanitize production equipment, floors, walls, and work areas Break down and reassemble equipment for cleaning when needed Use hoses, cleaning tools, chemicals, and sanitation equipment safely Remove food debris and prepare production areas for the next shift Follow sanitation, food safety, and workplace safety procedures Complete routine cleaning and sanitation tasks throughout the facility Help keep supplies stocked and work areas organized Jump in and support the team wherever needed
What We’re Looking For: Previous sanitation, production, warehouse, or food manufacturing experience is a plus, but not always required Comfortable working around water, cleaning chemicals, and production equipment Able to stand, bend, lift, and stay active throughout the shift Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Willing to learn and follow safety and sanitation procedures Someone who isn’t afraid of a job where “clean enough” definitely isn’t the goal Why You’ll Like It Here Steady work, multiple shift options, hands-on training, and an established production environment where reliable people can build experience and grow.
