About the role
Shipping Associate$16.00/hour1st7:00am - 4:30pm (Monday - Thursday) or 7:00am - 11:00am (Friday) The Shipping Associate is responsible for the final preparation and shipment of the highest quality products while following all safe and efficient work methods and procedures. Responsibilities are performed using business software systems, forklifts, pallet wrapping, weight scales as well as power and manual hand tools. Shipping Associate Responsibilities:
- Pick, box, palletize, tape, wrap, label and weigh products for shipment
- Perform data entry of all shipment information into company and carrier software
- Prepare and complete related paperwork
- Inspect completed order prior to shipment
- Assist with production duties in other work cells as required
- Requirements for Shipping Associate:
- Ability to lift and move products up to 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 100 lbs. occasionally
- Detail oriented personality who emphasizes accuracy and thoroughness
- Ability to read and understand tape measurements and decimals (standard and metric) and perform basic addition/subtraction (decimals and fractions)
