About the role

Job DescriptionWhat We Do Global Repair Group is the leading provider of case management services to the airline industry when a passenger’s medical device is delayed, lost, or damaged, both throughout the United States and internationally. What We REALLY Do A delayed flight. A damaged wheelchair. A trip that was supposed to be simple suddenly becomes overwhelming. In those moments, people aren’t thinking about processes or policies. They are thinking about how they will move, how they will get home, and how they will regain a sense of normalcy. That is where Global Repair Group’s Claims Specialists or Case Management Specialists step in. What we do goes far beyond claims. It is about listening when someone is frustrated or scared. It is about slowing things down, asking the right questions, and finding a path forward when independence feels out of reach. Every situation is different because every person is different. The work happens in conversations and in coordination behind the scenes. A repaired chair is returned. Mobility is restored. Confidence comes back. It is thoughtful, human work that requires patience, problem-solving, and genuine care. At Global Repair Group, we are compassionately restoring independence. The Kind of Person Who Thrives Here We hire for character and train for skill. Many of our Claims Specialists did not start here with a perfect plan or a polished resume. They brought curiosity, empathy, and a willingness to learn. Over time, those qualities grew into confidence, ownership, and a deep understanding of how much impact one person can make. We’ve intentionally built a collaborative, high-energy office where people come first and teammates genuinely support one another. Here, empowerment and support go hand in hand. Our team members are trusted to take ownership of their work, make decisions, and grow, all while knowing guidance and mentorship are always within reach. That’s why we are in-office Monday through Friday, 8:30–5:00. There is no substitute for real-time collaboration, hands-on mentorship, and the kind of support that only happens face-to-face. Sound Like You? Bachelor’s degree Exceptional communication skills with a strong customer-first mindset Confident, polished phone presence Highly organized with sharp attention to detail Strong critical thinking skills — you’re comfortable thinking beyond the obvious Tech-savvy and comfortable navigating Microsoft Office and internal systems Ability to prioritize, multitask, and stay focused in a fast-paced environment A positive, upbeat energy that people can feel through the phone Curiosity, coachability, and the willingness to learn — even if it means taking smart risks 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday – Friday: in office: Deerfield, IL This role starts at a base salary of $45,000, with a planned increase to $50,000 within 4–6 months based on successful completion of training and performance milestones. Employees are eligible for our Quarterly Bonus Program after 90 days, and we offer a Signing Bonus paid after 6 months of employment. Think this could be you? Submit your resume and cover letter and don’t worry, we promise to reply. No ghosting here.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
