About the role
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, switches, and other data center hardware
- Monitor system performance and respond promptly to alerts or outages
- Perform routine inspections of power, cooling, and cabling infrastructure
- Execute hardware break-fix tasks including component replacement and troubleshooting
- Document maintenance activities, incidents, and configuration changes
- Support rack and stack of new equipment and decommissioning of retired assets
- Collaborate with network and systems teams to resolve technical issues
- 2+ years of experience working in a data center or similar IT infrastructure environment
- Solid understanding of server hardware, networking fundamentals, and cabling standards
- Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds as needed
- Comfortable working in a 24/7 operational environment, including on-call rotations
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills under time pressure
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams
- Hourly pay range of $15.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and project requirements
