Quality Technician Monticello, MN | Direct Hire | 1st Shift | $27/hour+ (Based on Experience) Konik is partnering with a manufacturing organization seeking a Quality Technician to support inspection activities, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives within their production environment. This role will perform incoming, receiving, and in-process inspections while partnering closely with production teams to ensure parts meet customer specifications and internal quality standards. The ideal candidate will have previous quality inspection experience within a manufacturing environment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to interpret drawings, use inspection equipment, and maintain accurate quality documentation. Experience with CMM equipment, PC-DMIS software, PPAPs, and corrective action documentation is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
Perform incoming, receiving, and in-process inspections to verify product quality and compliance with manufactured parts using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, radius gauges, and other inspection tools. Support production teams by ensuring quality requirements are met and parts are available for continued engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements to complete accurate inspections. Create and maintain inspection documentation, measuring instructions, and quality records. Document inspection results using Microsoft Office applications and quality systems. Identify quality issues, communicate findings, and support problem-solving efforts with production and engineering teams. Maintain an organized work area and follow company safety and quality procedures. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality, efficiency, and process improvement.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.2+ years of experience in a quality inspection or manufacturing quality role.
Ability to use precision measuring equipment and interpret inspection results.
Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate
to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with production teams and internal departments.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Experience with CMM equipment and PC-DMIS software.
Experience with steel tube manufacturing or fabricated metal components.
Experience creating inspection instructions, CAPA documentation, or PPAP
of OSHA requirements and manufacturing safety practices.
Experience supporting continuous improvement
problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and recommend solutions.
Additional Role Details
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM.Manufacturing environment with hands-on inspection responsibilities.
