Business Operations, Project Coordination & Social Media InternOrganizations: Vive Medical Wellness / Foundation for Obesity Health & WellnessLocation: San Antonio, TexasType: Internship — 6 months or longerSchedule: Monday–Friday | 10:00 AM–3:00 PMWork Arrangement: In-Person Only — Remote/Online OptionCompensation: Unpaid educational internship with professional recommendation upon successful completionAbout the InternshipVive Medical Wellness and the Foundation for Obesity Health & Wellness are seeking a motivated, organized, creative, and dependable Business Operations, Project Coordination & Social Media Intern.This internship provides hands-on exposure to the operational side of a growing wellness organization and a nonprofit focused on obesity prevention, wellness education, community outreach, and access to care.The internship will have a strong emphasis on daily operations, project coordination, social media, community outreach, business development, administrative systems, and nonprofit operations.Interns will work closely with leadership and gain practical experience seeing how healthcare-related business initiatives, nonprofit programs, marketing campaigns, community projects, and organizational systems are planned, coordinated, and executed.This is an active, hands-on internship. Interns should expect to participate in projects, maintain organization, help coordinate deadlines and deliverables, assist with social media, communicate professionally, and help keep multiple initiatives moving forward.Business Operations & Project CoordinationA major component of this internship will be operational project coordination.Responsibilities and learning opportunities may include:Assisting with day-to-day business and nonprofit operationsCoordinating projects from planning through executionMaintaining project timelines, calendars, task lists, and deadlinesTracking outstanding tasks and deliverablesPreparing meeting notes and organizing action itemsFollowing up on pending projects and documentationHelping coordinate vendors, partners, contractors, and community organizationsMaintaining operational trackers and project filesCreating and updating checklists, templates, workflows, and SOPsAssisting with implementation of new operational systemsOrganizing digital and physical recordsResearching vendors, services, programs, partnerships, and business opportunitiesHelping leadership maintain organization across multiple simultaneous projectsSupporting launches, events, campaigns, and new organizational initiativesSocial Media, Marketing & Content CoordinationSocial media will be a significant and ongoing part of this internship.Interns should be comfortable participating in social media and willing to learn how content supports business growth, wellness education, community outreach, and nonprofit awareness.Responsibilities may include:Assisting with social media content planningMaintaining content calendarsHelping create posts, stories, reels, short-form videos, graphics, and educational contentCapturing appropriate behind-the-scenes contentAssisting with filming and organizing video contentHelping prepare content for business launches, events, programs, and campaignsCoordinating content between Vive Medical Wellness and the FoundationHelping maintain consistent branding and messagingScheduling and organizing social media postsSupporting community engagement and online outreachResearching relevant trends and content opportunitiesAssisting with promotional campaignsHelping monitor engagement and basic content performanceOrganizing photos, videos, testimonials, and marketing assetsProfessional social media experience is not required, but candidates must be comfortable with social media and willing to participate actively in content creation and coordination.Vive Medical Wellness OperationsInterns may receive supervised exposure to the administrative and operational systems involved in running a wellness organization, including:Client/patient journey and administrative workflowsAppointment coordinationIntake and onboarding processesCustomer service and follow-up systemsOrganizing educational materials and resourcesMaintaining administrative documentationSupporting operational communicationCoordinating marketing initiativesOrganizing business development opportunitiesSupporting events and promotional initiativesAssisting with process improvement and workflow organizationInterns will not provide medical advice, diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment, or make clinical decisions. Any protected or confidential information must be handled according to applicable privacy policies and organizational procedures.Foundation for Obesity Health & Wellness OperationsInterns will also gain exposure to nonprofit administration and community programming.Responsibilities may include:Supporting nonprofit administrative operationsAssisting with community outreach initiativesHelping coordinate wellness education programsOrganizing community
