What You'll Do: As a PCU RN with First Choice Nurses, you will provide high-quality patient care within acute-care hospital environments. Responsibilities may include:
  • Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
  • Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status
  • Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments
  • Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records
  • Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards
  • Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans
  • Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments
