About the role

Digital Content Strategist MFB Inc To serve as the strategic lead and primary administrator for Michigan Farm Bureau's digital member community and mobile engagement platforms. To develop and execute content, engagement and adoption strategies for the MFB Thrive Community Platform and Mobile App that strengthen member connections, increase participation and make MFB resources, expertise, events and opportunities easier for members to access. To manage the day-to-day operation, content strategy and continued growth of the platforms while working collaboratively with Michigan Farm Bureau (MFB) centers and divisions, county Farm Bureau staff, members, program leaders and technical partners. To use member behavior, analytics and feedback to continually improve the digital member experience and identify opportunities to strengthen member value and engagement. Serve as the primary business administrator and content strategist for the MFB Thrive Community Platform and Mobile App. Manage day-to-day platform operations, configuration, content organization, community structure and user experience while ensuring alignment with MFB brand standards, communication strategies and organizational priorities. Develop and manage platform content, editorial planning, engagement campaigns and member communications. Build, launch and manage online communities based on MFB programs, member interests and organizational priorities. Work directly with program owners and subject matter experts to establish community objectives, identify appropriate audiences, develop content plans and determine appropriate engagement strategies. Required Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, digital media, public relations, journalism, business, community management or related field required, or equivalent experience may be considered. Minimum three years of experience in digital communications, content strategy, community management, digital marketing or related field required. Experience managing or administering an online community, social platform, content management system, mobile application or similar digital engagement platform required. Preferred Experience with Higher Logic Thrive or similar online community platform preferred. Experience with event applications or digital event platforms preferred. Experience with association management systems, customer relationship management systems or integrated member/customer databases preferred. Experience with iMIS preferred. Experience developing automated or personalized digital communications preferred. Experience with community moderation, member engagement or volunteer engagement preferred.
