About the role
RED Global has an established Managing Consultancy Practice which we are looking to expand. The current client portfolio consists of several established International Technology Service Providers. There is a need for a Junior Sales Consultant to focus on developing the relationships and expanding the footprint in existing and new clients in the US. The role is remote from the US as it reports to the Key Accounts team in our London Headquarters.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Develop and build long term strategic client relationships across the IT market, through both telephone contact and face-to-face meetings.
Obtain and gain a full understanding of client hiring requirements.
In partnership with the Resourcing team, identify and qualify suitable candidates prior to submission.
Develop, maintain and leverage a network of IT professionals from both a client and candidate perspective.
Take responsibility for all aspects of contractor management for placed candidates, including contract review and negotiation, ensuring compliance and collecting relevant documentation, and managing the contract extension process.
Maintain our CRM system with your daily output of calls, emails, job orders, submittals, interviews, and placements.
Identify opportunities for other Red Commerce business units within your client base, and cross-sell our service offerings accordingly.
Achieve personal monthly, quarterly and annual sales and KPI targets.
Individual Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience working in staffing, preferably within sales
- Strong time management skills and an initiative, proactive and solutions-lead approach.
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Good skill level of Microsoft systems.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
