Must-Haves Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering 5+ years of experience in steam power plant operations Strong foundation in thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and mechanical systems Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point) Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work extended hours on short notice when needed Ability to pass a pre-employment exam, drug and alcohol test, and background check
What You'll Do: Own the reliability and performance of plant rotating equipment, including steam turbines, pumps, valves, piping, and material handling equipment Monitor equipment health, build performance trends, and interpret predictive maintenance (PdM) data Lead root cause analysis investigations and implement corrective actions Plan and execute outages on scope, schedule, and budget Develop and lead reliability improvement projects and evaluate contractor proposals Coordinate contractors during testing and maintenance Lead Management of Change (MOC) assignments and support 5-year budget planning Provide technical guidance to operations, maintenance, and other departments Support safety programs and regulatory permit compliance Nice-to-Haves Steam turbine experience Experience with OSIsoft PI, Maximo, Emerson Ovation, AutoCAD, Intertek AWARE, or Tap Root
Compensation and Benefits: $125,000 to $145,000 per year
