Company Description JLJ IV Enterprises is a heavy civil contractor that specializes in utilities and road construction work for the city of New York and is well established with more than 25 years of experience in the industry.  The privately held and growing company has approximately 25 employees in its main office and over 300 employees in the field.  We are seeking a reliable and organized Office Coordinator to serve as the front point of contact for our office.This role is responsible for managing the front desk and supporting daily office operations. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling multiple administrative tasks in a busy office environment. JLJIV Enterprises is located in Queens Village, NY and this position would be an in-person role. Employment Type: Part Time, Daily 9am - 2pm in officeKey Responsibilities:·       Answer and route calls on a multi-line phone system·       Greet visitors, clients and vendors·       Receive, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and packages ·       Order and maintain office and kitchen supplies ·       Assist with weekly payroll check mail-outs ·       Provide light administrative support to office staff as needed and assist in general office organization and coordination ·       Basic administrative support (filing/scanning, scheduling, data entry)Qualifications:·       2+ years of receptionist, administrative assistant, or office support experience·       Strong communication and customer service skills·       Highly organized with strong attention to detail·       Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced office environment·       Proficient with Microsoft Office and email systems·       Reliable, punctual, and professionalKey Competencies:·       Strong phone and communication skills·       Organization and reliability·       Basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook & Office Suite)·       Customer service mindset·       Ability to multitask
