About the role
Instrument Operator The Instrument Operator is responsible for working from drawings and specifications sheets to perform assembly work on all types of transformers. This includes, but is not limited to, winding, coring, insulating, assembling, stud, welding, packaging, and tasks associated with the realization of these processes. Instrument Operators should have general knowledge of clearance and insulation requirements for various voltage responsibilities include: Winding VT and CT coils; Inner Bushing assembly; and other associated tasks Core assembly Insulating Assembly Transformer and component packaging Stud Welding Living Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business. Your background should include: High school diploma or equivalent plus at least two (2) years' experience in a manufacturing environment Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United work ethic Excellent attendance and quality of work record Able to read a tape measure. Working understanding of math Safety minded and quality conscious.
