Edison, New Jersey Cruxx is partnering with a Med Tech company in Edison, New Jersey, that is building a complex electromechanical system and is about to go commercial. They are hiring an Operations and Office Coordinator with a defined path into a customer-facing role within six months. This is a ground-floor hire. The company is small, fast and candid about being messy. You will find the gaps and fill them, and the people who join at this stage have seen their roles grow quickly. It suits someone who wants to learn how a surgical technology company actually runs, from the workshop to the operating room. What you will do in the first three months Work alongside the Technical Operations Manager and take operational work off his plate Build the office workflows an engineering team depends on: where prototypes live, where things get built and set up, how kit moves in and out Coordinate the company's office move Build, print, make and ship materials for conferences, including assembly and breakdown of the booth at shows Manage suppliers, inventory, scheduling and the day-to-day running of the office Where it goes from there Train with the Head of Business Development and move into a customer success and customer discovery role Attend clinical validation sessions and live surgical cases, supporting the surgeon and the wider clinical team on the day Record what surgeons and their teams say and turn it into clear, actionable feedback for leadership
What we are looking for:
Evidence of coordination, project or time management in any setting; retail, hospitality, clinical, research or administrative backgrounds are all relevantA self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and change, and does not need a manual or a manager to get moving Sociable and confident enough to sit with surgeons, clinical teams and senior stakeholdersA strong stomach for the operating room and hands-on clinical work Based in New Jersey and able to be on-site in Edison most days Exposure to public health, health sciences, medical devices or the operating room is a plus, not a requirement What is on offer Direct exposure to a founding team that has built and sold companies before Benefits including healthcare with 75% of premiums covered for you and your family, and a flexible time-off policyA role that is designed to expand, with a clear move into a customer-facing clinical position Apply with a CV or a Linked In profile.
