Sr. QA Analyst/Engineer

Location: Washington District Of Columbia

Duration: Fulltime Salary: $100k to $130kKey

Responsibilities: Leading and defining the QA process in collaboration with Engineering and Product teams (30%). This includes determining how QA can be most effectively integrated within the software development lifecycle (SDLC), refining QA processes, tooling, and standards while executing on them. Supporting the planning and design of QA tests (30%). Assisting in creating and documenting QA testing for new features by translating requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria into comprehensive test cases and test plans. Writing and executing QA tests (30%). Developing repeatable test cases for daily execution, conducting manual functional, regression, and smoke tests across different features, performing cross-browser and responsive testing, and validating integrations, APIs, webhooks, and third-party connections. Providing release support (10%). Approving release readiness, supporting staging, UAT, and production verification activities, defining test scope and priorities for each release, and managing test data and environments.

Required Qualifications: A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience as a QA Engineer and/or Analyst. Proven experience leading software quality assurance efforts with an emphasis on automation testing. Skilled in creating, executing, and documenting test cases and test result sets within an agile environment. Ability to write efficient and scalable test scripts. Experience with software performance testing practices. Familiarity with testing within commercial cloud platforms (e.g., GCP).Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with development teams to execute test cases that support ongoing software development efforts.
