About the role

Alderson Loop is seeking two Endpoint Security Analysts to help reduce an enterprise laptop vulnerability backlog. This hands-on role focuses on using CrowdStrike Falcon to identify affected devices, investigate missing or failed patches, and drive remediation through verified closure. The role is remote and is budgeted until EOY. Need help ASAP. Please confirm you're within the compensation range and comfortable with a short contract duration.
Responsibilities: Review CrowdStrike dashboards and reports to identify and prioritize long-open vulnerabilities. Investigate why patches remain missing, including deployment failures, incomplete mitigation, or gaps in compensating controls. Deploy or coordinate operating system and application updates using enterprise endpoint management tools. Troubleshoot remediation failures, validate results, and track outstanding issues through resolution. Partner with endpoint and IT teams to resolve blockers and document root causes.
Qualifications: Strong hands-on experience using CrowdStrike Falcon to support vulnerability analysis and patch remediation. Experience troubleshooting Windows endpoints and deploying operating system and third-party application patches. Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, SCCM, or comparable endpoint management tools. Strong investigative skills and the ability to work independently, prioritize quickly, and deliver with minimal ramp-up. PowerShell scripting and remediation automation experience preferred.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
