Position: Custodian at Bucyrus Elementary School (M-F 3:30-Midnight*)Summer hours may differ
Reports to: Brian Mitchell, Maintenance Coordinator
Certification: High School Diploma or equivalent
Qualifications:
  • FBI / BCI Criminal Background CheckMeet all mandated health requirements
  • Complies with drug-free workplace rules & all board policies
  • Keeps current with technology & other workplace innovations
  • Custodial and/or building maintenance experience
  • Basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing & carpentry skills
  • Ability to interpret & apply blueprint & schematic diagram information
  • Knowledgeable about building codes, accessibility guidelines, safety regulations, & environmental laws
  • Knowledge of micro-electronic & other HVAC control systems
  • Available to respond to building &/or service emergencies
  • Ability to work both inside & outside of buildings & able to do heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs)
Salary: $ 17.76 - $26.21 per hour commensurate with experience
Hours: 8 hours per day, 260 days per year
