About the role
- Design of small to medium size structures using relevant design standards, via 3D structural design software. Ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements and industry standards
- Review customer requirements to ensure designs are fit for purpose and delivered on time.
- Technical presentation of structural calculation reports to clients, and intermediary design verification partners.
- Development of detailed 3D models, using industry standard software packages including Revit and AutoCAD 3DParticipation in BIM coordination meetings with clients and colleagues when required.
- Production of comprehensive construction drawings to internal and client specifications.
- Production of material lists, cutting schedules and close coordination with our warehousing team to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of required materials.
- Fielding of internal and external technical enquiries regarding products or services using existing technical documentation, or through problem solving and development of the department’s technical knowledge.
- Verifying future project application feasibilities via concept level design and cost estimation.
- Manage concurrent projects and their deliverables.
- Development and possible automation of internal Engineering process, such that speed and accuracy is improved for future projects and employees.
