- Associates degree preferred from an accredited institution in electronics (preferably biomedical) or other related field. A combination of education and related experience may substitute for the degree.
- Equivalent biomedical military training acceptable
- Certified BMET (Biomedical equipment technician) preferred
- Documented completion of factory training on a variety of basic and complex pieces of Biomedical equipment
- Valid Colorado driver's license required
- Three to seven years of progressively complex (troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, design and modification) hospital-based biomedical equipment technician (BMET) experience required
- Previous electronic preventive maintenance and troubleshooting experience required
- Basic knowledge of networking required
