Complex insurer-side coverage work, direct client exposure and the opportunity to build genuine specialist expertise within one of New York’s longest-established insurance practices. Join a century-old insurance and reinsurance platform representing leading domestic and international carriers in sophisticated coverage disputes, advisory matters and high-stakes litigation. Platform ️ True Insurance Specialisation: Work within a platform built around insurance, reinsurance and complex liability, rather than insurance being one department within a generalist firm. Sophisticated Coverage Work: Advise insurers across CGL, professional liability, cyber, property, healthcare and complex casualty coverage, with exposure to both advisory and contentious matters. International Client Exposure: Work with leading US and international insurers and reinsurers, including matters with cross-border and London-market dimensions.
Responsibilities: Advise insurers on coverage analysis, policy interpretation and complex exposures Draft coverage opinions, reservation-of-rights and disclaimer correspondence Manage discovery, depositions, dispositive motions, mediation and arbitration Work directly with carriers, underwriters and experienced coverage partners
