About the role

Candidate Source is working with a growing distribution company in Chester, VA that is looking for Warehouse Associates to join its team. In this role, you'll help unload inbound shipping containers, palletize products, and keep the warehouse organized and moving. This is a full-time, first-shift opportunity with weekly pay and room to grow. Shift/HoursMonday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM35 to 45 hours per week
Job Duties:
  • Manually unload floor-loaded shipping containers of boxed food and household products
  • Palletize products for storage
  • Stretch-wrap completed pallets
  • Count items to make sure pallets are stacked correctly
  • Organize warehouse areas as new product arrives
  • Work as part of a team to keep product flowing through the warehouse
Job Requirements:
  • Warehouse or distribution experience preferredRF scanner experience a plus, but not required
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the shift
  • Comfortable with repetitive lifting over an 8-hour workday
  • Able to handle physically demanding manual labor, including frequent lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, and standing
  • Reliable attendance and a team-first attitude
