About the role
To support a client engagement focused on denials management and revenue cycle performance, the remote contract Revenue Cycle Denials Consultant will leverage extensive experience in denials management and project management to assess processes, analyze trends, and implement strategies for improvement over a 6-month period.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssess current denials processes, workflows, and performance
Analyze denial trends and identify root causes, opportunities, and areas of financial risk
Lead denials-related projects and initiatives from planning through implementationRequired Qualifications7+ years of healthcare revenue cycle experience, with significant experience in denials management
Strong knowledge of the end-to-end revenue cycle and denials management process
Demonstrated experience identifying denial trends and performing root-cause analysis
Project management experience required
Experience developing and implementing denial prevention and reduction strategies
