Hardware Kit Assembly Technician
Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM Monday – Thursday Pay: $18.00/hour – DOE Location: Arden,
NCPosition Summary:
The Hardware Kit Assembly Technician picks, counts, bags, and labels hardware used in our products. This position works from pick lists or bills of material and is responsible for making sure each hardware bag is complete and accurate before it moves to production or shipping.
Main Responsibilities:
Read pick lists, work orders, and bills of the correct hardware and count the required quantities. Build one complete hardware bag at a time. Verify the contents before sealing and labeling each bag. Report missing, damaged, or incorrect parts. Keep hardware bins and the work area organized. Help with inventory counts and restocking as needed. Follow company safety and quality procedures.
What We Are Looking For:
Strong attention to detail and accurate counting. Basic math and ability to follow written instructions. Dependable attendance and a willingness to learn. Ability to tell the difference between similar hardware items. Previous manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, or kitting experience is helpful, but not required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and handle small parts during the workday. Ability to lift and move boxes or containers of hardware as needed. Key Expectations Accuracy comes first. Complete and verify one hardware bag before starting the next. Ask questions or report a discrepancy anytime something does not match the pick list.
