About the role
About the position:
This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Hub Zemke Library, Beale AFB, CA.
This role is for Regular Part-Time employment, offering benefits and ensuring a minimum of 20 hours of work weekly, with the possibility of working up to 40 hours per week.
This positions schedule will be from Wednesday - Saturday. Who May Apply: Open to everyone. Applicants will be categorized by preference(s) and/or priority consideration eligibilities. An applicant's eligibility will be determined based on eligibility claimed in the questionnaire and proof of eligibility MUST be provided with application by the closing date, 10/06/2026.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, Ameri Corps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Experience in a library that provided specific knowledge of library rules, policies, and procedures for circulation and technical service and/or prior experience in program development for a variety of ages is desired.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Must have experience or training that demonstrates the ability to perform computer data processing.
Must have typing experience.
Must possess skill in dealing with the public.
Experience working with children is desired.
Experience in public speaking is desired.
