Job Description:
Smith Stripes Property Maintenance looking for a dependable, experienced Lawn Maintenance Technician to join our growing lawn care and landscaping company. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, is self-motivated, and can manage a route independently.
Responsibilities:
Manage an established weekly route of residential and commercial properties Operate stand-on and zero-turn mowers, string trimmers, and backpack blowers Safely drive a company truck during work hours and tow a 16-foot trailer Perform weekly mowing, trimming, edging, and cleanup Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on mowing equipment Identify and solve problems as they arise while in the field Work independently with little supervision while maintaining a high standard of quality
Qualifications:
- 2 years of professional lawn maintenance experience required
- Experience operating stand-on and zero-turn mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Comfortable towing and maneuvering a 16-foot trailer
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Clean background check
- Ability to work independently and stay on schedule
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Mechanically inclined is a plus
