Job Description: Site Preparation: Set up sawhorses, extension cords, compressors, scaffolding, and other necessary equipment. Site Cleanup: Remove debris and hazards; dig trenches; backfill holes; and compact earth to maintain a safe and organized worksite. Material Handling: Load, unload, transport, and position construction materials as required. Assistance to Skilled Trades: Support carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other tradespeople in completing assigned tasks. Tool Operation: Safely operate hand tools (e.g., shovels, hammers) and power tools (e.g., saws, drills, jackhammers). Temporary Structures: Assemble and dismantle scaffolding, bracing, and shoring systems. Safety and Traffic Control: Install barriers, direct traffic when required, and strictly adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE.Key Skills and Qualifications Physical Endurance: Capable of lifting, carrying, and performing repetitive, physically demanding tasks. Reliability and Teamwork: Dependable, punctual, and able to collaborate effectively with team members. Safety Awareness: Strong commitment to following workplace safety regulations. Willingness to Learn: Open to on-the-job training and learning new techniques, tools, and equipment.
