- This is a video-first writing role. The majority of your work will be scripts that get produced and run as ads on Meta, with some work on YouTube. You'll work closely with our media buyers and video editors to develop new angles, analyze what's converting, and write the next round of tests.
- If you've been writing direct response for a while and can hold a viewer's attention past the first three seconds, we want to talk to you.
- What You'll Be Writing
- We're being specific here because "copywriter" means very different things to different people. Here's exactly what this role produces:
- Primary - this is most of the work:
- Short-form video ad scripts (15-60 seconds) for Meta and TikTokUGC scripts - testimonial-style, talking-head, and problem/solution formats written for creators to performVSL scripts (3-20 minutes) for lead-generation funnels
- Hooks - written in volume for structured testing, not one at a time
- Secondary - supporting work:
- Static ad copy, headlines, and primary text
- Landing page headlines and body copy that match the ad's promise

- Email sequences and nurture campaigns
- Webinar scripts
- Long-form sales pagesSEO articles, blog posts, or informational content
- Experience writing for law firms, personal injury, or other legal practice areas
- Experience in other high-ticket lead-generation industries such as home services or healthcare
- Landing page copywriting and conversion rate optimization (CRO) experience
- Familiarity with GoHighLevel, Meta Ads Manager, and similar tools
- Experience collaborating with media buyers, video editors, and designers in an agency environment
- What We're Not Looking ForTo save everyone time, this role likely isn't a fit if your experience is primarily:
- Brand storytelling or editorial writing without direct response experienceSEO articles, blog posts, or long-form informational content
- Social media captions and community management
- Creative strategy or direction without hands-on writing
- Writing ad copy without understanding how it ties to campaign performance
- Please submit all three of the following:
- Updated resume - highlighting your copywriting and paid advertising experience
- Portfolio - at least three video scripts or ads you wrote that ran in live paid campaigns, with performance results where available and a brief note on the strategy behind each
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
