The Solution Marketing Specialist (Energy) supports AFL's Solution Marketing Manager across the Energy vertical, translating vertical marketing strategy into scoped deliverables, Marketing Shared Services (MSS) briefs, and well-orchestrated cross-functional workflows. This role is the operational backbone of go-to-market execution, ensuring that launches, campaigns, content, and enablement programs are delivered on time, on brief, and aligned to strategic priorities. Working closely with Solution Marketing Manager (Energy), Technical Copywriter, Product Line Management (PLM), Solution Engineering (SE), Market Development, and Marketing Shared Services (MSS), the Specialist drives day-to-day execution, monitors performance and quality, and keeps deliverables moving across the marketing engine across the Energy business. Responsibilities:Strategy Translation and Deliverable Scoping:Translate vertical marketing strategy from the Solution Marketing Manager (Energy) into scoped deliverables, project schedules, and clear acceptance criteria Develop and maintain MSS briefs covering campaigns, launches, web updates, content, video, design, and event assets Help prepare launch plans, briefing documents, and internal communications for solution and product releases Support the Solution Marketing Manager and Technical Copywriter with research, persona development, content ideation and roadmaps, and competitive intelligence inputs as needed Deliverable Management and Cross-Functional Coordination:Manage end-to-end execution of marketing deliverables, ensuring launch and campaign assets are delivered on time and to required quality standards Coordinate cross-functional workflows across PLM, SE, Market Development, Corporate Marketing, and external agencies Brief and coordinate MSS (web/digital, design, video, photography, events) with clear priorities, scope, and service expectations; lead quarterly planning and briefing sessions to align deliverables to business priorities, proactively manage dependencies and risks, and ensure commitments and deadlines are achieved Partner with PLM and SE to gather technical inputs, validate accuracy, and align content to product roadmaps and customer applications Coordinate with Market Development to integrate market insights, value propositions, go-to-market objectives, regulatory updates, and customer intelligence into marketing deliverables In collaboration with the Technical Copywriter, manage editorial calendars, asset libraries, and content lifecycles — approvals, version control, updates, and retirement of outdated assets Support the Campaign Manager on integrated campaign execution, sequencing, and channel activation across web, social, paid media, PR, and partner programs Maintain a single, transparent view of in-flight work — owners, status, dependencies, and risks — and escalate execution risks, resource conflicts, and timeline issues to the Solution Marketing Managers Ensure brand, messaging, and quality consistency across deliverables Performance Monitoring, Analytics, and GTM Alignment:Monitor campaign analytics, budget status, MSS SLA adherence, and deliverable health to keep go-to-market execution aligned to strategic priorities Track and report on KPIs: deliverable on-time rate, content engagement, lead generation, campaign performance, and pipeline contribution Maintain dashboards and recurring reports for the Solution Marketing Managers, the Director of Solution Marketing, and Business Unit stakeholders Track quarterly OKRs and contribute to team reviews and quarterly business reviews Surface insights and recommendations from performance data to inform vertical strategy, content refresh, and campaign optimization Support budget tracking and reconciliation across vertical campaigns, content production, events, and partner programs Messaging, Positioning, and Go-to-Market Support:Support the Solution Marketing Manager to craft compelling messaging Contribute to the development of content roadmaps covering thought leadership, solution launches, and product messaging, supporting the creation of amplification content such as social posts and internal bulletins Draft the social media content calendar and finalize it monthly with the Solution Marketing Managers and Campaign Manager to align messaging, priorities, and campaign focus Manage event planning and execution across the EMEA region, coordinating with the US events team to align annual event calendars, prioritize participation, and ensure consistent activation across regions where required Qualifications and Experience:Required:3–5 years of B2B marketing experience in solution marketing, product marketing, marketing operations, or campaign coordination Demonstrated experience translating marketing strategy into scoped deliverables, briefs, and project plans Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering on time and to quality across multiple concurrent initiatives Experience managing cross-functional marketing workflows across product, engineering, sales, and shared services Experience working with marketing analytics, dashboards, and performance reporting Preferred:Experience in the Energy market Exposure to energy hardware, fiber optic networks, network infrastructure, or related technical product portfolios Experience supporting solution or product launches in a B2B environment Experience working with Marketing Shared Services models or agency partners under SLAsTechnical Competencies:Deliverable scoping and brief writing: Translating vertical strategy into clear, actionable briefs for MSS, agencies, and cross-functional teams Project and workflow management: Managing schedules, dependencies, and approvals across concurrent campaigns and launches Marketing operations: Working knowledge of marketing automation platforms, CRM systems (Salesforce), project management tools, and analytics dashboards Campaign analytics: Assist in tracking campaign performance, engagement metrics, lead quality, and pipeline contribution Budget tracking: Monitoring spend across campaigns, content, events, and partner programs Content lifecycle management: Editorial calendars, version control, asset libraries, and retirement of outdated content Working knowledge of marketing channels, SEO, paid media, and demand generation tactics Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Office 365 and ability to use AI tools for productivity, research, and content support Behavioral Competencies:Operationally rigorous: Translates ambiguous strategy into concrete plans, schedules, and accountable owners Cross-functional collaborator: Builds strong working relationships across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Shared Services teams Detail-oriented: Maintains high quality
