Floater Eastern Staffing & Recruiting is hiring a Floater for our client in the Walton, NY area. This position is responsible for supporting basic plant operations and completing department-specific job training as assigned. The ideal candidate will be dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Learn and follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
Learn and follow Good Sanitation Practices when handling equipment.
Follow FSQ requirements and daily job duties to support QRMP standards.
Complete all required observations and training in a timely manner.
Perform equipment set-up, start-up, and changeover procedures as needed.
Conduct and document required quality checks.
Assist with equipment clean-up after smash-ups or mis-feeds.
Monitor processes and communicate any product or equipment abnormalities to Supervisors, Team Leaders, or Line Technicians.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School Diploma required.
Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
Ability to work flexible hours, including extended hours and weekends as needed.
Commitment to workplace safety and company policies.
