About the role
- MIG weld steel livestock products
- Fit and fabricate parts using shop drawings and measurements
- Cut, notch, drill, and prepare steel
- Build gates, panels, feeders, and other agricultural products
- Use saws, grinders, welders, and other fabrication equipment
- Inspect your own work for quality and accuracy
- Keep your work area clean and organized
- Help the shop hit daily production goals What We're Looking For Welding/fabrication experience preferred
- Able to read a tape measure accurately
- Comfortable working from prints, measurements, and jigs
- Able to produce clean, strong, consistent welds
- Dependable and shows up ready to work
- Works efficiently without sacrificing quality
- Mechanically minded and good at solving problems
- Takes care of tools and equipment
- Works well as part of a team
