About the Role:
Northeastern Assembly, Inc. is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Inventory Material Handler to join our team in Taunton, MA! In this hands-on role, you'll play a vital part in keeping our operations running smoothly by managing the flow of materials and maintaining accurate inventory. If you take pride in keeping things organized, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Accurately track and maintain inventory levels using inventory management systems
- Pick, stage, and distribute materials to the appropriate workstations
- Perform regular counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy
- Safely operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or supply shortages
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and storage environment
Requirements:
- Prior experience in warehousing, or material handling preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods of time
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
