About the role

Quality InternThe Quality Intern provides administrative support to the Quality Management System (QMS) by assisting with documentation control, recordkeeping, and coordination of quality-related activities. This role is designed to provide exposure to quality processes through administrative tasks under the guidance of the Quality Manager and Quality team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support for discrepancy documentation and tracking activities
  • Assist with Return Material Authorization (RMA) paperwork, filing, and record maintenance
  • Support administrative coordination of RMA receipt and shipment documentation
  • Maintain and organize Quality Manuals, procedures, and controlled documents
  • Assist with data entry and recordkeeping for the Calibration Program
  • Support vendor quality documentation filing and tracking
  • Compile and organize basic quality data for reporting purposes
  • Maintain training records and ensure documentation is up to date
  • Assist with document preparation and record retention for acceptance and release activities
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, data entry, and document organization
  • Provide administrative support to the Quality Manager and Quality team as needed
Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointInterest in administrative processes within quality or regulated environments
Training: Introduction to the S3 Quality Management SystemExport & ITAR compliance awareness Aerospace quality fundamentals (introductory exposure) Quality department onboarding and administrative process training
