Job Description: We are looking for a dependable and skilled Appliance Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential appliances and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair residential appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, ranges, dishwashers, and other major appliances. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and electronic problems. Perform appliance inspections and determine the cause of equipment failures. Replace defective parts and complete repairs efficiently and safely. Communicate repair needs, recommendations, and costs clearly to customers. Maintain accurate service records and documentation. Keep tools, equipment, and service vehicles organized and properly maintained. Follow all safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines. Provide professional and courteous customer service at every appointment.
Qualifications: Previous appliance repair experience preferred. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Ability to use hand tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to lift and move appliances safely. EPA certification is a plus, but not required for all positions.
