SENIORITY
Lead
About the role
- Define microarchitecture and lead the implementation of high-efficiency AI ALU, vector, and datapath modules using SystemVerilog/Verilog.
- STA & Timing:
- Drive timing closure by analyzing and resolving complex Setup/Hold, clocking, and critical-path issues across PVT corners.
- Low Power & PPA:Lead performance, power, and area optimization using techniques such as clock gating, operand isolation, and architectural tradeoff analysis.
- Design Sign-off:
- Own RTL quality and sign-off activities, including Lint, CDC, RDC, synthesis, timing constraints, and formal or equivalence checks.
- Technical Leadership:
- Collaborate with architecture, verification, and physical design teams while mentoring engineers and leading complex technical reviews.
- Extensive experience owning complex ASIC or SoC blocks from microarchitecture through RTL sign-off.
- Timing & PPA:Deep understanding of STA, Setup/Hold, Skew/Jitter, PVT corners, and performance, power, and area optimization.
- HDL Proficiency:
- Expert-level SystemVerilog/Verilog skills with strong synthesizable coding and hardware-oriented design experience.
- Digital Architecture:
- Strong knowledge of pipelining, stalling, bypass logic, flow control, and high-performance datapath design.
- Technical Leadership:
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional technical decisions, mentor engineers, and drive complex designs to completion.
- Scripting:
- Proficiency in Python, Shell, or TCL for EDA automation and design analysis.
- You would be a "Star Candidate" if you have:
- AI Accelerator Experience:
- Experience designing NPUs, GPUs, vector processors, matrix engines, or other AI compute hardware.
- Computer Arithmetic:
- Deep knowledge of fixed-point, IEEE-754, FP16, BF16, FP8, or related hardware arithmetic.
- Advanced ASIC Flow:
- Experience with synthesis, physical design, advanced CDC, low-power design, and silicon bring-up.
- RISC-V Exposure:
- Experience with RISC-V ISA, vector extensions, execution pipelines, or processor microarchitecture.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
