About the role

Line Operator Line operators are required to be able to lift various parts of varying length and weights. Weights will vary from 2lbs to 20lbs. Line operators are on a timed rotation of 15-20min per line station, after 45 min the operator will be off-line performing 5S activities among other assigned cleaning tasks. The Line Operator is responsible for following procedures for processing material, operating production equipment and following quality and safety procedures. The Line Operator is responsible for processing parts, handling products, equipment and materials per the Production Department and company's quality system procedures. The Line Operator is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized line. These responsibilities are not limited to any individual shift, these are the responsibility of all shifts. The Line Operator, regardless of other duties, has a direct responsibility to the supervisor or line lead in his/her area of work area. The Line Operator is required, as a minimum, to have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. The Plant Manager or immediate supervisor can determine whether education and training are \"equivalent\" based on his/her experience. The Line Operator is required to complete a supervised training program as well as read and understand any pertinent training or department procedure manual. NO Experience Necessary
