About the role
- Set up, operate, adjust, and troubleshoot label manufacturing equipment
- Perform machine changeovers and optimize machine performance
- Conduct quality inspections using measuring devices including calipers, rulers, and gauges
- Complete minor mechanical adjustments and preventative maintenance
- Prepare and monitor inks, adhesives, coatings, and raw materials
- Identify quality issues and make machine adjustments to correct them
- Record production, downtime, and quality data using computer systems
- Maintain a clean, organized work area following 6S standards
- Work closely with Maintenance, Quality, and Production teams
- Follow all safety procedures and proactively identify potential hazards
- RequiredAt least 2 years operating industrial manufacturing equipment
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical equipment during production
- Comfortable making machine adjustments to maintain quality and productivity
- Ability to read work instructions and production specifications
- Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, rulers, or gauges
- Ability to stand for an entire shift and lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attendance and reliability
