Job Description
Join the Sterling Interstate Moving Team: Sterling Interstate is a family-owned moving company looking for dependable, hardworking movers and mover/drivers to join our crew. Whether you have moving experience or are looking to learn, we're looking for people who enjoy hands-on work, work well with others, and take pride in doing a job right.

  • Drive 26-ft company moving trucks when qualified and assigned
What Our Crew Likes About Working HereOur movers describe Sterling as an honorable, team-oriented crew with good people, flexible scheduling, opportunities to earn customer tips, and work that keeps you active. You'll also receive hands-on training from our Quality Control Specialist on how to properly wrap, protect, and handle customers' belongings. Sterling handles both local and interstate moves. As you gain experience and prove yourself, there may also be opportunities to join our interstate crews and travel for moves across the country.

What to ExpectMoving isn't always a traditional 9-to-5 job. Our schedule is based on customer moves, so hours can vary depending on moving volume and the season. Flexibility is important. If you're dependable, enjoy staying active, like working with a solid crew, and take pride in doing good work, we'd like to hear from you.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
