Job Description Job Description Job Title: Field Sales Representative – Hub Delivery Partner Program (Washington State) Job Description This role offers an opportunity to help launch a brand-new delivery partner program by recruiting local small businesses across targeted areas in Washington State. You will spend most of your time in the field visiting prospective businesses, presenting the program, qualifying interested partners, and guiding them through the application process. Working closely with a Field Manager and other local contractors, you will also help organize and execute recruitment events, build community partnerships, and maintain accurate records in Salesforce. The position involves regular travel within a driving radius of up to approximately two hours and offers uncapped commission based on partner conversions. Responsibilities Visit prospective local businesses door to door in targeted towns within approximately 1.5 hours driving distance to promote the delivery partner program. Present and pitch the new delivery program opportunity to prospective businesses in a clear and compelling way to generate interest and encourage applications. Qualify prospective businesses based on program criteria and guide them step by step through the application process. Lead follow-up activities with interested businesses and manage the full recruitment pipeline in Salesforce, ensuring all stages are accurately tracked. Support the Field Manager in planning, coordinating, and hosting community-based recruitment events such as lunch-and-learns and town hall meetings. Collaborate with the Field Manager to engage local influencers and organizations, including chambers of commerce and economic development associations, to drive referrals and expand program awareness. Import Excel spreadsheets and enter weekly activity, leads, and partner status updates into Salesforce to maintain accurate and timely records. Build and maintain strong relationships with small business owners, serving as a trusted point of contact throughout their onboarding journey. Proactively identify and resolve issues or questions from applicants in the field, ensuring a smooth and positive experience. Consistently represent the program with professionalism and enthusiasm while working independently in the field five days per week. Essential Skills At least 2+ years of experience in sales and/or customer service. Proven outside or field sales experience. CRM experience required, with Salesforce strongly preferred. Demonstrated account management experience, including managing a pipeline of prospects or customers. Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both in person and over the phone. Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately track and document activities in systems such as Salesforce and Excel. Ability to solve problems for applicants in the field and handle questions or issues in real time. Tech‑savvy, with experience working with multiple systems and technology tools. Ability to travel up to approximately two hours round trip on a daily basis. High sense of urgency, professionalism, and enthusiasm for working with others. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior field sales experience is a strong plus. Previous roles involving sales and/or negotiation with customers are highly beneficial. Experience building relationships with small businesses or community organizations. Comfort presenting to groups in settings such as lunch-and-learn sessions or town hall meetings. Ability to collaborate effectively with a Field Manager and other local contractors. Interest in developing community partnerships and supporting small business growth. Work Environment This is a field-based position with a primary focus on in-person outreach across multiple locations in Washington State, including areas in or near Kent, Lakewood/Tacoma, and Bremerton. You will work five days per week in the field, traveling within a radius of up to approximately two hours round trip to visit businesses and attend community events. The role requires frequent driving, and mileage reimbursement is provided at a stated rate per mile. You will use technology tools such as Salesforce for CRM, Excel for data import and reporting, and a mobile phone for daily communication, with a monthly phone expense allowance provided. The environment is fast-paced and community-oriented, with a strong emphasis on building partnerships with small businesses and enhancing the last-mile delivery experience.
